EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION
|
VISION
I believe that change lies at the very root of our social being. With the pace of change constantly accelerating, children of today face - and will continue to face - a world in which economic and social change will come so fast that tomorrow's generation, looking back someday, may not recognize it.
Today's parents face an accelerating pace of life with more and more demands put on them. Commuting is part of their lives, leaving less and less time to take their children to extra curricular activities. Carpooling is more and more an activity of the past, as is the stay- at- home Mom. There are scarcely any families in which mother and father are not working. Instead of providing our children with more skills to strive and survive in a more demanding world, the parent of today has less time to do so.
The environment a child is exposed to at a very early age has a formative effect on
his/her development, exposing a child to age-appropriate activities such as art, music, and dance, lays the foundation for later mathematical skills such as spatial relations, patterning, sequencing, and the like.

"Children seem to have well-defined personalities from birth.
But how their parents and others treat them will shape their characters."
