HISTORYThe desire to open PIP stems from my own happy childhood. My early exposure to the arts instilled in me a great senseof pride and achievement. Coming from a long line of Viennese musicians and composers, art and music were very much the center of my life in my formative years. This, coupled with world travel, gave me an early appreciation for culture - something I would like to pass on to other young children through early education. In order to acquire the other skills necessary to succeed in the field, I studied child psychology at Loyola University and Princeton University. In 1987 I worked at the Princeton Montessori School. That same year I opened my doors to children with my own family care program, Princeton International Preschool. In 1998 I earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) from the Council of Early Childhood Professional Recognition. I was also certified as an early childhood educator by the State of New Jersey during that time. This experience, coupled with the desire to reach more young children, was the foundation for Princeton International Preschool (The PIP Center). | ||||||
