The Kende Trio, Juilliard graduates and students of Princeton University, have been studying music for nearly 17 years. In 1997, sisters Alexis, violin; Crista, viola; and Daniela, cello, formed a trio and have since performed for the late Pope John Paul II, three ambassadors, and at music festivals in the U.S. and Europe. They especially enjoy performing for young children because of the child's natural potential for musical expression, understanding and appreciation.

The Kende Trio will present a child friendly overview of music history, performing and discussing short pieces from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods.
